Service / Privacy film
Stop people seeing in without closing the blinds. Privacy film goes on the glass you already have and keeps the daylight coming in.
Most privacy film works in one of two ways, and they behave differently. Which one is right depends on the room, and on whether you need privacy at night.
One-way film also comes as dual-reflective film, which is less mirrored on the inside, so the view out at night is better.
Reflective film works like a two-way mirror. Whichever side is brighter sees a reflection, and the darker side sees through. In daylight the street is brighter, so people outside see a mirror and you see out. At night with your lights on, it flips: people outside can see in, and you see your own reflection.
For privacy at night in bathrooms and bedrooms, use frosted film, or pair one-way film with blinds you close in the evening. We will tell you which one suits the room before you buy anything.
“best of all I now have complete privacy in my ensuite washroom without having to use external blinds and blocking the natural light.”
“We can see out clearly… you can't see us in!”
